What happens to these two? Looks to me like they have three options

-Them, Oregon St and Wash St remain in the Pac 12 and invite G5 schools such as SMU, Tulane, Memphis, Rice, etc

-Join the Mountain West (I see this as a last resort for them)

-Go the Independent route

Can they put their arrogance aside and join the MWC?
So much for Cal being the flagship school.

Big XII would be a logical move but this would be a power move by the SEC to pick them up and break into California.

Forget geographical alignments, conferences are a free for all now.

I see them completely looking down on the MWC schools. They should be grateful if the MWC gives them an invite

Unless someone bails out their athletic department for what they owe on their stadium, that ain’t happening. And it couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch IMHO.

Neither fit into the culture of the other conferences nor do they win enough to be worth the share of contract money they would get.

Cal and Stanford would rather go independent than join a conference based in Texas.

F them. Hope they go to the Mountain West

Stanford goes independent like ND and they both could join the Big 10 at some point. Cal scales down the barbaric practice of college football and doesn’t have a program in 10 years.

UCLA is going to end up paying a chunk of it. No way they are raising tuition at UC Irvin, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara. Cal's athletic dept. isn't going to be close to have the money to cover the debt.

No one wants such valueless schools in their conference

Pathetic

They will have more time to work on reparations

Oregon State's president is the reason Larry Scott was never fired.

I dont think Cal can even travel to many of the states represented in the B12.

Last I heard they were prohibited from travel to TX, FL and OK.

Stanford can do whatever they want because they are private.

Think Wazzu and OSU will go to Mountain West or AAC
Stanford and Cal could care less about all this, so I guess independent?
