You didn't notice any of the Bama vs NFL threads? I mean there's only like 3 or 4 on this board alone.

This is getting eerily similar to the praise USC was getting late in 2005 and into the new year.

Then what happened?

2005 USC had close games against Notre Dame, Fresno State, and Arizona State. How many close games has Alabama had this year?

Alabama is the easiest matchup for an NFL team.

They're built and run like an NFL team except with crappier, younger, and inexperienced and not fully mature players.

A great college team to have a chance to do anything against the NFL would have to show them something they never seen.

Saban just can't line-up and plow ahead with Trent Richardson against an NFL team...Mark Ingram can't line up and plow ahead in the NFL with an NFL line blocking for him.

Especially since:

1) Richardson is in the NFL

and

2) He's not exactly lighting it up, either (Ingram had a better YPC last year at 3.9 than Richardson is right now at 3.7)

I know he's in the NFL...which is why I used them...as an illustration that Saban's players wouldn't light up the NFL...how awesome they look at Bama against college kids and then look so average facing men.
