did he actually test positive, or is it just assumed he used?

Nope. Nobody will ever be unanimous because the douchy sportswriters think they are upholding "tradition"

Yes, his hand eye coordination was best I've ever seen, and quickest hands as well. I loved watching him swing a bat. Steroids or not

To be clear, this is not an argument about whether he would have similar numbers without steroids. I'm asking if you completely remove the steroid era stigma, would his numbers be enough?

This doesn't make sense cause there is NO WAY he has close to the stats that he got after roiding,,, He NEVER hits 73 hrs in a season.....

No one will ever be a unanimous HOF'r bc Babe Ruth was not. At least 1 sports writer every year will make sure this happens.

As far as Bonds, w/o PEDs he probably would have ended up being a top 20 alltime player. With PEDs, he is arguably the best position player that has ever played the game.

So if he was roiding in 1992 he would have thrown Sid Bream OUT.........????

I kige this.

No juicing, and he probably finishes his career a few years earlier, with a BA about 10-15 points lower and 500-600 homers. Very good numbers and (ironically) a first ballot Hall of Famer. But no GOAT talk.

This. I'm questioning if Jeter gets in unanimously.

I can't imagine we will ever see another hitter quite like Bonds from 01-04. That was amazing to watch.

We won't. His career is one of the best in the game and his peak is easily the greatest stretch of baseball that we will ever see from a hitting standpoint.

Greg Maddux was a choir boy and he didn't get unanimously voted in. Those voters should DIAF.
