re: Will the Cavilers even lose a game in the playoffs this year? - stevo1905
Except the Cavs did it without their second and third best players, as you well know....

re: What can the NBA do about the Eastern Conference? - stevo1905
With the 76ers it's 218-232 (7 of their 10 wins actually came against teams in the West)
That's pretty amazing....

re: What can the NBA do about the Eastern Conference? - stevo1905
The main difference is there are no other true contenders (Celtics, Bulls, Pacers) in the East to challenge Lebron this year. Other than that the conference as a whole was stronger than it's been in several years....

re: In their prime, 10 seconds left, Kobe vs Lebron, who gets the ball? - stevo1905
tells me he was relied on to take extremely tough shots that LeBron wasn't willing to take.
That's an interesting spin on taking bad shots regardless of any variable in a game. Kobe relied on Kobe to take any clutch shot because Kobe was a selfish player out for Kobe's legacy. He'd ra...

re: In their prime, 10 seconds left, Kobe vs Lebron, who gets the ball? - stevo1905
If you like 25-foot baseline fadeaway ALPHA clunkers, Kobe by a mile. If you want the right play, Lebron....

re: Lebron's jumpshot or lack thereof - stevo1905
LBJ is not as good at scoring the ball at will like an Allen Iverson
The scoring argument is a little puzzling to me as somehow he's become underrated in that regard. It's a narrative fallacy. Lebron has a higher career ppg than Kobe and Iverson, who were both low-efficiency volume ...

re: Lebron's jumpshot or lack thereof - stevo1905
A lot of it may be a function of his improved endurance and simply being in better shape. He's never been in bad shape by any means but stamina is a big factor in settling for lazy jumpers and poor defense. James Harden is a prime example on the extreme end of this spectrum....

re: Lebron's jumpshot or lack thereof - stevo1905
Toronto is heavily defending the perimeter because they're terrified of the Cavs' potential from outside, but without Valanciunas in the paint they can't properly defend them from penetrating. They're pretty much fricked....

re: MMO that you wish you were in on day one and still played today - stevo1905
Is it even still around? I miss the scale of combat in that game.
Yeah I still play it. I and a few friends migrate between games and always end up back in DAoC to satiate our PvP fix. It's just one of those games where you have to take it for what it is with its archaic and somewhat...

re: Lebron's jumpshot or lack thereof - stevo1905
LeBron's end of career position will be the 4, if he accepts that. He is unstoppable at the 4, but he wants to run the damn point and dominate/distribute the ball.
Why would you want to take away one of his greatest strengths? His passing ability is the main reason why his teams are...

re: Lebron's jumpshot or lack thereof - stevo1905
Not to take this thread in an awful direction, but I don't think it is a stretch to say that Simmons can have the type of game that LeBron is having right now. Facilitating with wicked passes, grabbing boards, and scoring in transition and in the paint. His jump shot is way worse than LeBron'...

re: Lebron's jumpshot or lack thereof - stevo1905
Seems like he's a bit bulkier and not as fluid.
He actually looks leaner to me than he did in Miami when he played the 4. He's more explosive now than he's been in the last couple of years. David Thorpe was saying on a Lowe Post podcast the other day that his jumper is off because he...

re: Lebron James - stevo1905
3rd best player of his generation/all time behind Kobe Bryant and James Harden
I realize that you're probably trolling, especially with the latter, but there are literally zero metrics to support an argument for either of the two. This is where the retards come piling in with team stat...

re: MMO that you wish you were in on day one and still played today - stevo1905
DAoC has nerfed XP requirements so much that I figure advancing to the level cap is a matter of days at least. It's also a lot easier to solo in that game. I don't know much about the grind post-level cap.
The problem with that game is new players don't really have access to any knowl...
