thank baseball's ridiculous blackout rules for that one.

There are a lot of Wisconsin graduates down here in Chicago. It's amazing how many of them were Brewers fans when C.C. Sabathia carried them to the playoffs several years back. All of them were wearing Cubs gear last night. Quite annoying, though this goes along with the narrative of many people in Wrigleyville last night.

Congratulations to the Cubs players, staff and front office. Hell of a run, and thank you to both teams for one of the most amazing games I've had the pleasure to watch as a neutral observer.

No kidding. I've seen the same thing (originally from Detroit suburbs). I've seen a few Tiger fans don Cubs merchandise the past couple of weeks.

It's sort of a borderline case for me with the B1G kids who move to Chicago. That's their city now. I can also excuse the people on the west side of the state as they are as close to Chicago as they are to Detroit. But, anyone else in the state rooting for the Cubs is a dork.

I mean yeah, that would be annoying. But if someone moves to a city and becomes a fan of the team there, they get a pass IMO. I love the Braves, but if I ever moved to a big baseball town like San Fran or Boston it wouldn't take me long to start repping those teams because you can actually go to the games on a regular basis. Convenience sake, I guess you'd say

I grew.up watching the Cubs because of WGN. Would go to my grandmas after school and watch games.

I'm not a huge baseball fan and will never be a diehard fan, but if the Cubs are in the playoffs I pay attention.

I live nowhere near Chicago and people are talking about this at work. Do not care. Good for Cubs fans but this bandwagon crap is annoying.

That saddens me for some reason. I feel like the Cubs should always be on WGN and the Braves should always be on TBS.

My FB feed is full of people that watched their first baseball game last night and have become a lifelong Cubs fan literally overnight.

Mostly women

I may have to deactivate my account before I say something that I'm going to regret.
