UNC or UF winning would cause some chaos.

This playoff will be Clemson, Bama, Oklahoma, and Michigan State/Iowa. I don't see much chance for any other outcome after today.

If Bama or Clemson lost NC would probably be next in line. If Bama and Clemson lose then Ohio State and Stanford would be next.

The committee wants the biggest names in possible, tOSU fits the bill and UNC does not.

Clemson has lost the eye test battle recently plus without a conference championship there's plenty of cause to put potential Pac-12 Champ Stanford or 1-loss tOSU in over them.

Oklahoma, winner of Big 10 Title Game, winner of ACC Title Game, then Alabama if they win SEC title game. If Alabama loses to Florida, then, chaos ensues.

Next teams up will be:
2 loss SEC Champ Florida
AAC Champ (1 loss Houston or 2 loss Temple)
1 loss Ohio State
2 loss potential Pac 12 Champ Stanford
2 loss Notre Dame
2 loss potential CUSA Champ Western Kentucky
2 loss Florida State

Ohio St won't get in because they won't put two from same conference in.

It will be Stanford if they win out.

The same teams are getting in as before ND lost. ACC refs will not let Clemson choke this away against UNC and Florida is terrible, no chance they beat Bama.

See people just say this but don't look at recent history.

In the 15 years of the BCS there were 11 times when a conference would have had two teams from one conference represented in a four team playoff. It would have happened more often than not.

That's where the human element plays into it.

I think Stanford will probably jump Ohio State this week, and will be the sixth ranked team.

Possible. I just don't know. OSU passed the eye test finally this weekend, and the committee obviously has been waiting for that with the rankings OSU has continuously gotten
