What if I told you he got physical with women in college (and not in a good way)?

Dude's been a bad apple for a long time.

Man that is a shame. I will say that my ex trainer from college at LSU went to A&M to work on the football team after graduation(he worked with the tennis team at LSU as a student, but also for football) and he said Manziel was a true mess. He also said that Sumlin had no control and allowed him and others to miss weights and practice. He said it was nothing like how practices were run at LSU. He hated it there

I have a friend that played with Johnny and they've remained pretty close. For these reasons I've gone out with them in Dallas a few times and the dude is a complete addict. Cocaine, booze, women everything above he abuses. It's truly sad because he's always been a nice guy to me, but then gets high and goes bat shite crazy

Johnny Manziel's father worried QB won't 'live to see his 24th birthday'
quote:

Manziel's father, Paul, told the newspaper that the Cleveland Browns quarterback has refused to enter area rehab facilities twice in the past week. He said the family tried to get Manziel, 23, to enter a local addiction facility on Saturday, but Manziel refused to stay. Paul Manziel said he tried to have his son admitted to a psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital on Tuesday, but Manziel was allowed to leave even though his father told officers that he believed Manziel was suicidal

You're a fricking idiot. You are going to beat the shite out of your 24 year old son, take away his cell phone, and ban him from social media? You do understand that Manziel isn't in middle school right? He's a grown man

Ed, you seem really hostile for a Friday afternoon bud. Have a drink, relax, and read the rest of the thread tough guy.

I'm actually having a drink right now

Just saying that beating the shite out of your mid 20's professional athlete son and cancelling his cell phone bill might not hand much of an impact.

Again who's this "they" his father is referring to? Shouldn't be part of the "they"?

He should refer to himself in the 3rd person: Paul Fricking Oil thinks they need to get Johnny some help

None of us know the full history, but its possible the dad and family have tried many times and he wont comply.

It's also possible - in fact, more likely - that they've been enablers of the lifestyle that's led to the current situation. Guys like him don't get made over night.

Yes he USA grown man. Maybe he needs to start acting like one. The dude needs to get his life straight over anything else. I doubt he does anything stupid like take his life. 1st off I think he is to big a coward.and 2nd I have a feeling he is proud of himself for getting this much attention. He won't ever play in the nfl again and he should just relax and enjoy whatever money he has. His dad sounds like a tital loser anyway .

Klark, Klark. He's a full grown adult. He'd kick your arse, then call the cops on you for breaking and entering.

Well it sounds like his dad should have whipped his arse while he was still young. It's too late for any of that and it sounds like Johnny couldn't care less what his parents have today now anyway. It's kinda sad. The dude has the talent that a ton of young men would dream of having. Spoiled rotten strikes again.

No wonder Johnny is a piece of shite. I realize he is an adult now, but frick his dad for (seemingly) not trying hard enough.

shite, who knows, maybe he a lost cause and the Dad know it.

If that was my son and I thought his life was in danger and ruining his future I would do what ever it took to get him under control. If I had to tie him up somewhere then that is what would happen.

He's the one that enabled him to get where JJ is at. Now he's worried? I wonder how many times he told people to F off when they suggested JJ has issues?
