Oh, except in the Super Bowl with the game on the line.

Haha. Mistake. He's not worth half of that.
So begins the end for the Seattle run.

So since you seem to know best. What exactly is he worth? half this?

He doesn't turn the ball over, he has a great deep ball, and can extend plays with his arm and leg. He's accurate as well. He doesn't need to be the all everything QB.

You pretty much described an all everything QB

Wilson buckled to pretty much all of his demands. Still got a pretty penny but hell have to think of a better leverage ploy than the Texas Rangers if he wants to max out in 5 years

If you actually dig into it, the QB's who won super bowls were making a lot less money when they won it, got the huge payday, and never won again. The only exception in the last 15 years in Peyton Manning in 2006. Brady made $14M last year. Manning took a paycut to $16M this year. Brees was still on his first deal making $10M in 2009. Rodgers was still on his first deal making a lot less in 2010. The list goes on and on. The Seahawks just sealed their fate.

I posted the breakdown last season when the arguments were in full force. Also, argue with a buddy that thinks he's the second coming. Teams win with top-paid QB's, just not SB's. Brady last year is the highest paid, I think, at 14.8 million since Peyton in 06. If the Seahawks win another, it will be this year. What has made them special is their depth being able to rotate in starter level backups. That is fixing to go out the door.

Man, just imagine where they'd be if they had stuck with Matt Flynn. At least 2 more Super Bowl trophies.

Did anyone actually take his time with the Rangers seriously? That just seemed like a nice PR move. But not a serious option.

Bunch of LSU fans still mad about him taking over QB here. Good luck trying to argue with them.

RW won the job over Flynn and the reaction. There is a hatred for him here since.
