Wow...
I can't ever think of another time CL beat Hahnville. Lou Valdin needs to get his shite and GTFO of Boutte.

You must be young then.

CL is 17-24 All-Time vs Hahnville and basically owned them the entire 1980's-1990's. Even when they won state in 1995 CL beat them to win district.

Central Lafourche's run defense is really good. We have a 6'2 320 lbs DT that stuffs up the middle. Our pass defense is shaky at best. Hahnville is the first team we've faced this year that hasn't run the spread. They played their power run game strait into our biggest strength and struggled because it. Plus we're playing with our 4th String QB.

Clhstrojans have you ever seen a year like this in 7-5A?

Have a forfiet and a ton of teams beating each other up. Im assuming Dhan still has it locked up but this year just seems wild to me.

I certainly hope you are right. I have a nephew who is 6-1 240 in the 7th grade. I would love to see him flourish under Menard. My son is in the 4th grade and a pretty good athlete. Hopefully the program is doing well by the time they get there.

ETA..... the Jr highs around here did pretty well this past season. Hopefully the community can build on that.

5-5A update

The Catholic/EA winner Friday gets a share of district, minimum.

Dutchtown gets the other share IF they win at The Pit. Dutchtown beat EA, lost to Catholic.

St. Amant is eliminated from contention.

St. Amant screwed up royally. If they don't lose to Woodlawn, they'd be playing for district at home Friday night. Still can't believe Woodlawn beat them.

Dutchtown almost blew it last night. McKinley had a 2 to tie with less than a minute left and they didn't get it.

Hahnville didn't win state in 95. They lost in the dome to Neville, they ended 11-4. Hahnville won in 92 and 94, both years they were 15-0.

IMO, St Amant beats Dutchtown comfortably. MUCH more physical, tough runners, scrappy QB and rugged Defense. just a bunch of good HS Football players with a chip on their shoulders. When Justin Reid cheap shots a Gator, there's gonna be a fight. STA is like 5 points from being undefeated, EA, 1, thanks to a non call on an obvious Safety vs DT.
Btw, STA has 40 Srs and 41 Jrs, so Oliver has a nice Program established now. Retaining kids is hard sometimes and they don't get the South BR/ St Gabriel kids like DTHS does. Word on the Ascension Streets is that Benny Saia will be visiting Istrouma this week, lol...

Friendly reminder:

Dutchtown 7
EA 6

Tell your DBs to not get chased down from 10 yards by Dutchtown's kicker and maybe another team from Ascension finally beats Dutchtown.

I think you need some Boudreaux's if you're still bitter about a high school football game after 7 days.

You sir are correct. I should have said beat them for district then they ended up state runner ups. We didn't play them in 1991 & 1992 because they were in 4A.
