According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Los Angeles Clippers and Boston Celtics are still discussing a trade for Kevin Garnett. This time, however, there’s a new wrinkle:

The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers have been discussing a deal to trade forward Kevin Garnett for guard Eric Bledsoe and center DeAndre Jordan, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

There are differing factions within the Celtics and Clippers on the prudence of the deal, but the two teams have been in regular contact about the possibility, sources said.

Nevertheless, the biggest hurdle could ultimately center on Garnett’s willingness to waive his no-trade clause and accept a deal to the Clippers.

Because of his home in Malibu, and a close relationship with Clippers guard Chauncey Billups, there’s hope that Garnett, a 15-time All-Star, could be coaxed into accepting a trade if an agreement is reached, sources said.

Howard is arguably the worst person in the NBA.

self righteous, arrogant, never proven to truly be worth the money/time, and has a sense of entitlement through the roof. when the going gets tough, he throws others under the bus and wants to be traded. a true sack of shite this guy is.
Wait, what?

So the lakers want to have three guys who insist on having the ball in their hands? I really don't see how this is the answer to their problem even though I'm a huge Rondo fan. Maybe they have another trade ready to go.

If the Celtics docs check out Howard and decide he'll eventually get back to 100%, Danny Ainge would run Forrest Gump-style to LA to personally pick up Howard.

this is true though.

good God why would the Clippers do this? The dude is 37 years old. Don't they already have a power forward?

Is Garnette's contract expiring after this year?

Garnett is a power forward, but he has been playing center for a few years. Jordan is an average player who is over paid. Bledsoe has looked good. If the clippers want to win this season, this is the type of deal it will take.

Garnett sure as hell isn't putting them over the top and Jordan is a very sufficient big man who is still very young. With CP knees you absolutely have to keep him. Would be a horrific move

Garnett is exactly what they need. Odom gets crunch time minutes next to Blake and KG is better on both offense and defense. It would be a lot to give up but it would put them up there with the Heat and Thunder IMO.

All day long every day it never ends Howard this oh he is hurt or Kobe is mad at him or he does not hustle etc etc etc

He is a locker room killer no doubt

It would help the Clippers a lot this year. DeAndre Jordan is possibly the worst free throw shooter of all time so he can't play if the games are close. Garnett is a punk bitch but he's averaging 15/7 and shoots about 80% from the line. He would make them a lot better.

That would be a disaster.

What is Rondo going to do on offense when the offense is ran through Kobe?
