this misconception is why he'll stay. What you said is simply not true.

gotta do some work, so don't ask me why and expect an immediate response.
Are you saying that the NFL is not the biggest sporting league in America?

My perspective, growing up mostly with Tag's NFL is that it's been a big part of the culture for a long time. Sunday afternoons with the family all over the country. The biggest difference between now and then? Technology. Everyone has HD tv's, streaming internet, a million channels, online fantasy football, scores on their phone, etc.

Goodell, like our POS president, CANNOT show up for anything on time.

I don't understand why these people cannot start things on time when they are the ones who scheduled a press conference.

because they are extremely important. i would say they have an inflated view of themselves. But, even if Goodell is 45 minutes late, every single media member will still be sitting there waiting.

He already explained his position and answered this question. I'm not going to repeat it. You can argue the actual point he made if you want, but I don't feel like rephrasing everything he said when it's already clearly out there.

It's been on a steady upward trajectory since WW2. It's always at a peak

Not the massive sponsorship that has come along for the NFL in last decade?

Uncertainty is the killer. Owners who are seeing great success are not going to move for change until something outweighs the uncertainty. We're not really close to that point yet, IMO.
