Final score 122- 103, leading by as much as 31, fourth quarter was a formality.

Nene and Capela combined for 30 points and 22 rebounds. Good to see against a top front court. Pat Bev 14 points, 12 rebounds.

If they play this hard in the playoffs, WCF is a strong possibility. Homerism aside, I'd give them a 20% chance against the Warriors.

What say the MSB?

If Durant misses the playoffs I'd give them a 35% chance.

They're one of four teams that can possibly win it all.

The Clippers have lost 11 of 18 and are on their way to the 7 seed. Beating them right now is pretty meaningless

They might be "for real", but beating the Clippers doesn't factor into that equation.

Where the rockets are tough is moreyball. The concept of shooting 50-60 3's is crazy for most but most don't have the shooters the rockets have. If they hit 10 more 3's than you you're gonna get blown out it's simple vs the Pacers they went ice cold and got beat at home. Can they outshoot everyone and roll absolutely possible. I'm a fan and still can't believe what I'm watching and when we will come back to earth. Look at last nights box the clippers actually took 7 more shots but the rockets took 18 more 3s and hit 8 more threes a +24 differential there and we won by nearly 20 it's not rocket science to say 33% from 3 is equal to 50% from 2 over 100 shots. If rockets hit 40% you better shoot 60% or you're done. Morey is a mad scientist who finally has the right shooters

They haven't been at full strength most of the year, till these last 3 games. But they are a solid playoff team with a lot of talent. Beating them in LA right now like that is no mean feat, IMO.

I'd concede that their lack of perimeter D makes it easier on the Rockets than some of the harder-nosed teams, but their interior is skrong. It's a really good win. I just hope we start to see some consistency now.

I'm sorry, sweetheart, but until Chicken makes a gay porn board, you Aggies are just gonna have to deal with these sports-related topics.

Why don't you act like a real Houstonian and quit being a bitchy little board cop?

Yes, they are for real. They aren't quite as consistent as the Spurs and they aren't quite as good as the Warriors, but they are still a legit contender.

Definitely a contender. Probably the third or fourth best team in the NBA. We'll see how they do against the Spurs. Its really a toss up between the 2 teams.

Warriors and Cavs are the 2 best teams. Will be a great postseason.

If Durant is out they're much higher than 35%.

This.

People don't realize that the Warriors gave away a lot of strong role players to get Durant. Barnes, Bogut, Speights..
Not saying they wouldn't be good. But I think the Rockets are a better team without Durant.

That's true, but he'll be back by the time the Rockets would face them, and that's if they get past the Spurs.

That douchebag Aggie Fishfinder was accidentally prophetic

So is Houston going to just shoot 50 3's a game?

Damn James. Sorry for selling you short my man. Can't believe I only thought he would get 9 assists a game
