Even as a Nashvillian, the city is a long way away from being able to support an MLB
team. The new Sounds stadium is a start but it is still not a big enough market to meet the schedule/attendance demands.

Edit: My vote is to Montreal, as much as I'd love another pro team in the Music City. I just don't see the support right now (or the near future) to make it work.

How much longer can revenues keep rising without major international headway and with cord cutting going to affect the next round of tv deals

Are any other American sports leagues outside NFL making noticeable headway? Not enough to compensate for the difference.

Cord cutting affects everything but nobody can give you a concrete answer. MLB.TV is a great option for fans though and I'd imagine it would then become a really viable option

When the Astros moved I was pissed. I thought DH baseball sucked. Now I love it. I know it sounds crazy but I'm so glad we have a DH amd would not be happy to go back to the NL.

Any time people say how shitty the DH is, I just use Astros fans as an example

Sure, some of them still hate having a DH, but most of them love it.

The only sport immune is the NFL and that is mainly because of 16 games and the gambling involved in football.

No. It's because the NFL has rules in place that allow a winless team to make the playoffs the next which keeps fan's interest.

Better start getting used to it.

A year after the NL adapts it, you'll like it. Just how it works.

The DH is an objectively inferior form of baseball but I get why it's popular

Yes I will. (quote below from myself in previous thread on why)

Seeing as I'm not a fan of any 1 team since Selig killed my team the Expos it will be damn easy to stop watching a sport I have no rooting interest in.

Manfred cited the favorable schedule of 16-team leagues split into four divisions of four. (Tighter divisional footprints would make owners happy, because fewer road games would start at unfavorable times for local television.)

KC is not just one, but two time zones away from the rest of this division. It works in the NFL (see AFC West) but not in MLB.
