To think they'd be separated from Philadelphia and NYM is funny
This is strictly geographically. I would imagine they'd keep Atlanta with the NL East teams. Then you'd have to put Washington in the South or something.

As much as I loath the DH, if the AL wants to keep it that's fine just keep it out of my teams league

l the regional networks and mlb.tv, there is hardly any reason to watch the nationally broadcast games.
If I have the choice between the Cardinals local broadcast and a national one i usually prefer the local one bc they provide more insight into my team. I'm sure there are more ppl who share that preference

Baseball in San Antonio would be neat.

I like Nashville and Portland for the two spots. You pretty much couldn't put Portland in the NL though because there's already five teams in the Pacific/Mountain time zone unless you moved the Rockies or something
And I bet the Braves will pretty much get to pick their landing spot division wise since it's almost a guarantee a team would be put in their current TV market

I feel like the Rockies are very movable at this point
If there was a southeast expansion team, you could put them in the NL South with Miami, Houston, and Washington.

For sure, I mean Coors belongs in the AL

I'd be kind of surprised if they moved the Astros again. I think they move the Rays if they're moving an AL team

which cities? SA, Portland, Charlotte, and Nashville?
Montreal- metro population is greater than Vegas & Nashville combined.

Extremely difficult to imagine any other markets that could support an MLB team. I'd just move the Florida teams.
In that case, I'd look at the biggest markets w/o a team. Central Texas (Austin-San Antonio) and Las Vegas in that order.

obligatory call for brooklyn to get a team as long as we keep the dodger name
Posted on 3/2/16 at 7:35 pm to WestCoastAg
No one even goes to Yankees games anymore.
I know you're kidding, but I'd imagine a Brooklyn team would seriously lose interest after a year or two.

Having trouble coming up with the last NL South team. Something easy to do would be to move the Rockies to the AL West (not a lot of history tying them to the NL), and the Royals to the AL South.
why not move Tampa to the NL in a South division?

the nets attendance numbers are pretty terrible

So true.. The lower sections behind the plate are half full most of the Time.. Having a team in Brooklyn just would not be the same..........

Rays and Rockies swap to make the geography easier so you don't have teams like the Nats and Marlins regularly traveling to Denver and vice versa. I'm probably overthinking the geography aspect though

When the Astros moved I was pissed. I thought DH baseball sucked. Now I love it. I know it sounds crazy but I'm so glad we have a DH amd would not be happy to go back to the NL.

You could move the rox to the north and the Reds south
