disagree 100% it has given players such as David Ortiz, Paul Molitar, Dave Winnfield, Frank Thomas, among others a chance to continue to play and enhance their HoF careers

IMO it tarnishes their careers.. Just hanging on to pad stats by not playing the field is bullshite to me....

Not that I think expansion is at all likely in the near future due to reasons already listed ITT but Manfred is making me very nervous with this stuff

I love baseball as it is and don't won't anything to happen that would ruin it

It's the same lesson the ppl who run NASCAR should learn: Baseball/NASCAR has a different dynamic than the other major sports and THAT IS OK

ETA: as for the DH if they every try to bring it to the NL I will burn Busch Stadium to the ground before it sees the field

Sorry, any division that isn't the Braves, Phillies, mets, and 4th team is just stupid.

So Frank Thomas, David Ortiz, Paul Molitor, Dave Winfield, Ken Griffey Jr (200 games as a DH)Jim Thome, Edgar Martinez, and even Don Baylor had their careers tarnished?

Watching pitchers flail like girls at pitches is worse IMO

Doing it geographically, it's pretty hard to do it any other way.

NL South could be Astros, Marlins, expansion, and the Cubs.

But I'd say it would be harder to split up the Cubs from the Cardinals than the Braves from the NL East.

Somewhat..Yes...As fan the people liked the fact that an everyday hitter batted for the Pitcher. But I am sorry that is NOT real baseball... Numbers were added to their career #'s without playing in the field because they were a liability.... I loved all those guys, But its NOT real baseball............

I didn't say you have to split the Cubs and cards though.

The AL uses it at the pro level... I forget how young you are.... And the reason pitchers suck at hitting is because after Little league they just pitch..... That was not the case back in the day... Hey some like the DH.. Fine with me... I have just never been a fan of it....

All I know is I heard the guy on Mad Dog a few months back and he seemed brilliant and like a good dude.

I love the game the way it is with the differences in leagues, but I know most people want to go one way or the other.

Not very compact. Which isn't your fault-- there's no way to put together eight divisions of four teams for MLB. It's a fool's errand.

Better to go with four divisions with eight teams in each one. Move the Astros back to the National League where they belong and put the two expansion teams in the American League.

Between all the regional networks and mlb.tv, there is hardly any reason to watch the nationally broadcast games.

When you look at it by time zone and not geographically it's easier to keep it aligned with historic match ups and achieve their end goal of having less coast to coast road trips

Whether you care to admit it or not the Braves are still a large market team despite not playing on TBS. To think they'd be separated from Philadelphia and NYM is funny
