How?

Alabama would have the better loss between them and Oregon.

The best win of the 2.
Higher ranked loss.
Twice as many top 25 wins(5, 11, 13, 21 for Alabama vs ~7, 20 for Oregon)

On what fricking planet should Oregon be ranked ahead of Alabama if Alabama, Texas, and Oregon win this week?

It doesn’t matter what planet. The planet Earth that host the playoff committee think Oregon is clearly better than bama

And all debates about resumes are an attempt to figure out who is “better” or in other words, who would win on a neutral field
No, resumes are used to see who DESERVES to be ranked in the top 4. Same record, better resume, no head to head, you take the team with the best resume.

That’s Alabama over Oregon if Texas, Alabama, and Oregon win this week.

On what planet should Oregon be ranked ahead of Alabama on this scenario?

I understand that.

I think it’s a joke and 99% of LSU fans wholeheartedly think it’s right that Oregon SHOULD be ranked ahead of Alabama if Alabama, Texas, and Oregon win this week.

That opinion makes a hypocrite out of all of them. It’s baffling.

They think Oregon is better. They are biased humans. Usually, bama had the benefit of human bias. This year to the committee, they don’t

True, and for years, both bama fans and Saban has said it should be who you think is better, not just resume.

So, hypocrites everywhere like you said

Exactly.

Although I’d be perfectly content if Texas gets in over Alabama simply bc of the head to head. That’s fair to me.

What I don’t understand is Oregon in the case that all 3 win.

Oregon simply cannot make it in over Alabama in this scenario. It’s absolute fraud.

Based on what? Show some data not just past bowl games.

Mississippi State is the 7th best team in the SEC West and they beat Arizona. Who is probably the 3rd or 4th best team in the PAC-12

Louisville is the 2nd best team in the ACC and lost at home to the 5th or 6th best team in the SEC East

This along with upper tier Big 12 schools losing to South Alabama and Ohio. When bad teams in the Big 12 start beating elite teams in other Power 5 conferences, that’ll be a start

Losses can’t be part of your resume

What year did Alabama get, undeserving, the benefit of human bias?

Probably, but they won't be unless Louisville or Iowa wins.

That seems silly but ok let’s forget about losses.

Alabama would have wins over ~5, 11, 13, 21 as a 12-1 conference winner
Oregon would have wins over ~7, 20 as a 12-1 conference winner

Alabama would have the overall more difficult SOS as well

Why are y’all ok with Oregon making it in over Alabama?

Funny how you seemed to have left out context to fit your narrative.

First off, Texas beat Bama H2H in Tuscaloosa and pretty well controlled that game. That single point is most important in comparing the two.

Texas’s “worse loss” was to their greatest rival in a closely contested neutral site game where OU was losing until the last 15 seconds.

Now you’ll spin to say “why does rival matter” as if Bama didn’t just need a last second miracle to beat their own rival who has 6 losses.

2017

Wisky had more wins, better loss, played in a conference title game

But they simply just thought bama was better
