Distractions only affect players is basically what you are saying.
No. I'm saying coaches are infinitely better at it. Or great coaches are infinitely better at it. And the one coach known for being so focused that he's insane is, again, infinitely better at it than the players.

And chill the frick out
No. I said Plax's tweets made so sense and aren't relevant. I've been called retarded by half the thread while each person gives their reason for why Plax is dead on. All of these arguments have been completely different. Some showed that people don't even know what the hell Plax was talking about.

If the tweets make SO much sense, and I'm an idiot for not understanding, then why the frick are none of y'all on the same page in explaining this shite to me?

From just reading page 1, there's a lot of Bama melt in this thread.

I've called Saban an insane dick in this thread and said Meyer could easily be the better coach between the two. I'm not eating peanuts out of the guy's shite over here. I'm not even saying he isn't a hypocrite!

Just that THESE tweets by Plax are retarded. I didn't even come in here defending Saban.

So it should be against the rules for a coach to move up the ladder? Wow

Never said anything even approaching that. All I'm saying is that when a coach bolts for another job, inside of a contractual obligation, the kids to whom he promised the world should have some modicum of recourse for their own future.

Has there ever been a coach who played out his contract? Saban is signed through 2057 it seems. So if he doesn't play this thing out, the kids can leave? That sounds insane. But whatever, I wouldn't even care if that was a rule, go for it.

And I still don't know how this applies to Placico's tweets.

1) Yes

2) If you haven't figured it out by page 7, it's likely not going to happen

Oh, well fml. I didn't realize Saban was the only guy who doesn't finish out his contract. I was under the impression that everybody did that and figured coaches don't coach the bowls games 10+ times a year. My bad.

This is completely irrelevant. You have to be purposely trying not to see the point. ETA: Pretty much everything you have said in this thread is a strawman misrepresentation of the opposing viewpoint.

He's the guy who manipulatively makes a point to one of his players about finishing what he started then immediately doesn't finish what he started. He's the guy who says that players shouldn't have information about their future early because it's a distraction while putting himself in a similar situation to be distracted.

He's a hypocrite.

Take things to the extreme much?

You ask "do any coaches finish out their contracts?"

I say "yes".

you take that to mean that every coach in the country finishes out their contract every time.

Is this the shite Finebaum had to deal with day in and day out?

I swear to you I'm not trying to be difficult over here.

You don't think that shite just comes with being a college football coach? You don't think Miles discussed draft options with players at any time before he left? "Bro, do whatever the frick you want man, this draft thing is your business." No coach says that. You don't think Miles sat in a kid's living room and told him he'd be there for him the whole way?

Y'all are fricking nuts if y'all think all this shite. And this is all assuming Plaxico fricking Burress didn't lie or exaggerate any of his tweets.
