Saban is saying his players are worried about draft projections and their future before the season is over. Money plays a big part in this.
Plaxico is saying that Saban was worried about his future and money before seasons were over.

It gives evidence of his hypocrisy and skewed presentation of fairness. Pretty relevant to Saban's comments.

I mean it is one of the simplest comparisons ever. How someone doesn't get it is somewhat amazing

Yeah, all of those things he has done more for the poor and unfortunate makes him a horrible person. GREAT point.

Nothin surprises me with bama fans anymore.

quote:Where in the world does it say Saban was upset?
Nick was upset his players were distracted by the NFL
And coaches want to win. They need good players to do that. Naturally they want them to stay. The players probably wanted Saban to stay as well. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Saban is also vocal about what he thinks warrants an early leave.
And....are you really insinuating that a coach must never leave a program. Coaching jobs for life?
Or, are you saying coaches are frick sticks if they leave a program if they have at any point urged a player to stay for his senior year?

LSU fans need to let him go already.

quote:This has absolutely nothing to do with Saban's time at LSU. I'm tired of the dude trying to go on a crusade every year that his team doesn't get it's way. Two summers ago, it was the fact that spread offenses were ruining the game and getting players "hurt". Now he's pointed his guns at the NFL/NFL Draft.
It truly amazes me how much a fanbase hates a coach who completely resurrected their program.
I'm fine with him trying to gain an advantage where ever he can. But stop trying to paint it as a situation where he's looking out for the players well being. Because that's complete horseshite.

Is this Bama speak for "Saban is a charitable guy"?
No, that is literal speak for Saban has a charity that financially helps a lot of people in need.

He's a massive hypocrite when it comes to situations and when he doesn't get his way. He tends to want to restructure the rules in some fashion.

Plaxico is saying that Saban was worried about his future and money before seasons were over.
Now, we have a coach "worried" about his future and...idk...what do coaches do when they "worry" about their future?
And we have Saban saying players worry about their future and money and health during the last game of the season.
Do I need to explain why one of these directly hurts the chances of a team winning while the other doesn't?
That evil Saban, not busting his arse like a psycho to win every game ever. Wait, yes he does.

I'm sure that doesn't serve a purpose of marketing himself at all.
Listen, I don't know him personally, so I don't know if that stuff comes from the heart or not. However, it has been established that he is a hypocrite and a liar. These aren't typical "good person" traits. You can get into a philosophical discussion about motivations and results, but I'm not going to go there on this board.

It's pretty self explanatory. I know it's a cop out response, but I don't have the patience to explain it right now. Maybe somebody else will.
