Things like this really aren't examples of the "free market" at play. When the risk of thuggish government- endorsed political targetting is introduced into a free market system it becomes something entirely different.

Once you voice your opinion it's no longer thought. Also, "decry" means the opposite of what you think it does. Furthermore, your analogy is nonsense.
