i aint saying Dilfer is better than Manning... I am just saying that when the get to the playoffs he is anything but robot-man.

Like I said, greatest of all time in the regular season.

In the crunch time of the playoffs, I'll take Brady or Montana.

Best regular season QB of all time. Unfortunately nobody cares about the regular season. With the weapons he's had it's amazing he has only been able to win one Super Bowl and he was extremely fortunate to even get that one.

Staubach should be in the conversation before Aikman

If Manning had a couple more rings, or just one more, I'd consider him the best ever. Then again if Marino had any rings there wouldn't even be an argument IMO.

If you were not a Vols fan you might have a little different view. No way he is better than Montana and Aikman.

When Manning retires he will be the best QB to have ever played the game.

Better than Montana? Please. He's not the best now. Manning blows in the post-season when it truly matters.

Manning post-season 9-9
Montana post-season 16-7
Brady post-season 14-4

End of story.

He either owns or has tied twelve playoff records.

An article from earlier this year: LINK

It's more like the Colts defense caves as they face off against the top offenses in the AFC.

He's also the only active QB with a perfect rating game in the playoffs.

From Bleacher report:

11 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, and a passer rating of 127.8, and three MVP awards.
Those are Joe Montana’s statistics in his four Super Bowl victories. In the biggest games of his life, Montana has played his best football. To go along with his Super Bowl stats are more playoff statistics that support his dominance. A 95.6 passer rating, and an NFL record 45 touchdown passes have led Montana to a 16-7 playoff record, the most wins by a starting quarterback in NFL history.

While Manning has been at the top of the pack, it should be noted his best days have come after the Ty Law Rule.
It is in the playoffs where, like Marino, Manning stumbles. His rating of 87.6 is not terrible and he has thrown a decent 28 touchdowns to 19 interceptions. However, these numbers have not translated to victories as he currently has a playoff record of 9-9. Six of those nine losses came in his first game.

Manning's post season mediocrity is more than the Colt's D, it's his propensity for Ints.
