The point is that he doesn't "blow" in the post-season any more than Tom Brady does. In fact, he led the biggest comeback in conference championship game history against the Tom Brady Patriots.
What happened to Brady in that game? Oh yeah, he was intercepted when he had a chance to win it.

I guess that proposal to make citing Bleacher Report a bannable offense didn't pass?

The stats are what they are regardless of the source. That's what came up first.

he currently has a playoff record of 9-9. Six of those nine losses came in his first game.
Very telling stat. He was very fortunate that the patriots choked that AFC title game the year he won his only ring.

Peyton is the best/most dominate NFL player EVER!!! anyone who says differently are only kidding themselves. sweetness, rice, marino, montana, elway, emmitt, and barry are all up there, but Peyton is tops.
it is a thing of beauty to watch him play. we are truly blessed to be able to watch him live, and in his prime.
LOL @ the aikman reference and a double LOL @ the saints and pats fans saying brees and brady are better. peyton is the best.......but he's still GATORBAIT!!!

Manning was even more fortunate that an inferior Patriots was able to knock off the Chargers in the previous round. The Chargers have historically owned Manning and the Colts and their '06 team was way better than those other Chargers teams. The Colts leaky run defense would have had a nightmare of a time trying to stop LT.

I love the misconception that Manning has choked in the playoffs yet Brady excels when the fact is, Manning actually has better playoff stats than Brady
Career playoff stats...(both have played 18 games)
..............Cmp...Att...Cmp%...Yds....TD...Int...Rate
Brady.......395...637...62.0%...4108...28...15...85.5
Manning...435...692...62.9%...5164...28...19...87.6
So Manning has completed more passes, at a higher percentage, thrown for more yards, and has a better Passer rating, yet Brady is the better playoff QB

can you name a more dominant player?
peyton will go down as the best ever.
the scary thing is, he might have another 8+ years left if he stays healthy

all wrong. go back and watch the tape, it's fairly obvious. no one has ever dominated the game on a consistent basis the way manning does. i sit in awe every single week, dude is just a beast.
and barry sanders is my favorite player of all-time. i still have his poster up on the wall at my momma's house. no way was barry more dominant than peyton....same applies to everyone you named. dude just cannot be stopped

i love people comparing a dominant running back to Peyton Manning. Yeah, I'm sure Jim Brown saw what the defense was doing before the snap and audibled accordingly.
Peyton Manning is playing offensive coordinator, no other player has ever done that.
