One day after New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was hit 23 times in his team's 20-18 loss to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game, the club has parted ways with offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo, sources confirmed to ESPN.

DeGuglielmo held the position for the past two seasons, after replacing longtime assistant Dante Scarnecchia.

McDaniels should atleast get a serious reprimand himself. His gameplan was horrible, as was Belichick's overall coaching effort.

Never in a thousand years did I think Gary Kubiak and Wade Phillips would out-coach Bill Belichik, but they took him to the cleaners Sunday IMO.

I don't think a coach is going to make that much of a difference. Those guys just weren't athletic enough to even get their hands on ware and miller

Maybe they should try to establish a running game for a change and Tom Brady won't get killed so much.

As he should be.

Brady was terrorized the entire game. Sacked 4 times, hit 23 times.

Not only was the Denver pass rush unbelievable, New England couldn't run the ball on Denver's defensive line to save their life.

The Patriots had 17 rushes for 44 yards.

Brady led the team with 13 yards on 3 carries. Think about that for a minute...

Bolden had 5 carries for 12 yards. James White had 5 carries for 11 yards. Steven Jackson had 4 carries for 8 yards.

It's amazing Brady was even able to propel the Patriots to (potential) overtime.

lol Brady is the reason the Pats lost plain and simple. If he wasn't a stick in the mud, he wouldn't have been hit some much. Replace Brady with Cam (tGOAT) and Cam would have run, scrambled, and passed all over Denver. Let's also not forget how, instead of throwing to his best player who was WIDE OPEN, Brady decided to throw pick to lose the game.

Guge is a great OL Coach. He had a shite hand this year with all the injuries and tried umpteen combinations of guys to try to find something that worked. This was really just one bad game and they fired him for helping take that bandaid OL to the AFC Championship game. That was a mistake on their part.

And he ran into what one of the greatest combo's of edge rushers in NFL history.

I thought the same and can't believe no one has really mentioned it. They looked off balance and the offense never really seemed to get in a rhythm. Plus, there were a number of route combination where they would have all of the receivers bunched outside of the hashmarks and no one was trying to run free down the middle. That had been a staple of their offense as long as I can remember, but there just seemed to be too many plays that completely vacated the middle (for both teams).

Sometimes you face a defense that is just really fricking good.

Patriots with no threat of a running game, going against insane pass rushing team, aren't going to fare too well.

If they were healthy on the OL and at RB, its a different game.

It's a shame Belichek couldn't figure out how to cheat enough to beat the Broncos.
