On Tuesday, June 28 2016, Pat passed away peacefully, following a courageous battle with early onset dementia, “Alzheimer’s Type.”

Wow. Sad. That was fast from the announcement of disease to death.

At least she didn't have to linger. There are things worse than death. RIP.

Very sad, but it's incredibly merciful to die swiftly from that disease

very true

A certain emptiness in the eyes that gives away dimentia. Quite haunting.

It's crazy she's only 64.... I assumed her to be a lot older than that.

Dimentia and alzheimers was one of the toughest things to see one my grandparents go through and for pat's family, no different. That said, she is better place now. Just a sad day.

I always admired Coach Pat. Makes me a little misty-eyed, I can't lie about it.
