Coach didn't even need an underhook. Idiot's takedown defense is questionable.

I do think he was assaulted by the coach - plain and simple.

He wasn't.

Yes, the coach body slammed him, but the guy was in the midst of commission of a crime. He ran up on an innocent party, who has the right to defend himself using reasonable force. Well, it appears the kid has no major injuries, so it would be nigh on impossible to argue he used excessive force. The coach is also only allowed to use force so long as the threat is ongoing, which it was. The kid would have a case if the coach then started kicking him when he was prone on the ground.

If this kid sues for assault, he's going to lose, and he's going to lose badly.

Is that a T-Peezy jersey he is wearing? If so, he is the gift that keeps on giving.

Looked like an Overeem vs Brett Rogers throw. Terrible base.

This student was being a jackass, but I am not buything this whole "Schlagel was protecting the team" shite.

He certainly didn't need to drag him away with event staff right there after the hit, unless he wanted a "look at me moment".

He might lose, however the coach pursued the kid and took the aggressive stance. Its not as if he ran away from the kid.

I aint reading six pages but I must said that what I did read saddens me. There are people who actually think it's unreasonable to pull his scholly huh? Youthful indiscretion huh?(21 yrs old).

How about, I could give a rat's arse because doing that shite is just plain stupid and if you got slammed in the process, well, I'm just disappointed you walked away without a limp.

Grow the frick up. Drinking to the point that you can't control your actions is a sign you probably should be paying your own way for school. Maybe then you'd start to become a damned adult.

Meh. I think he was having an "I'm tired of assholes like this" moment.

What is OSU tuition? Probably around $10K? So this guy made an $80K mistake? Nice

Welp, BRPD is going to be busy if you get your way. They have 1,756,987 potential athlete murderers that have stormed tiger stadium in the last 20 years to find and lock up

He was in his 4th year of a 5th year engineering degree. He should stick to caddying though, since he's a dumbarse.
