And no one ever accused tOSU of being classy or gentlemen.

Outside of Columbus they're seen as the uncouth rubes of the Midwest. Sort of rednecky. Woody - Tressy - Meyer - stay classy.

L-O-L. Michigan has what, 1/2 of a national title in the last 50 years? That's 1/2 fewer national titles than Gene Chizik. They have a lot of wins, which is nice; but their national title trophy case is barren.

ND
tOSU
Michigan

You've got your own network with Notre Dame and it's got the history and national prestige. Plus, the national sports media slobbers all over you.
I put Ohio State second, because they've actually won a BCS Championship, something that Michigan hasn't done. And I think they'll be the team that eventually breaks the SEC winning streak.
Michigan is third. But it's still a school where the right coach could win a BCS Championship. You recruit nationally, get a ton of love from the media and you've got history.
But shite, these are among the top 6 or 7 jobs in college football. It's all a matter of opinions what makes one better than the other.

And going back to the earlier post, I dunno how people in Texas accept those arse-rapes Oklahoma gives them every year. If LSU got beat like that by 'Bama two years running, Les Miles and his family would have to enter the Witness Protection Program.

That is entirely because of butthurt Spartans who are (a) upset the "blue wall" of Detroit media ignores them and (b) mad that the guy working at quickie lube makes fun of their Spartan diploma. But, there is no question that Michigan Stadium is chock full of guys I call Downriver Dave (downriver and east side of Detroit have a bit of a trashy element that loves their Wings and U-M). Anyway, OSU and ND t shirt fan bases are just as ridic and probably dwarf Michigan's.

Peej, Ohio State has the tradition. Ohio State has the recruiting base. Ohio State IS the better coaching job. There is no question about it.

Seriously, though, I think tOSU is the better job. As I said earlier in this thread, it is only from a recruiting standpoint. Ohio is a state with a lot of talent, and tOSU gets the overwhelming majority of it.

how good of coaching jobs they are

This does not reflect how I think they rank in an all-time programs ranking, just where I think it would be easiest to win.

All-time ranking

1. Notre Dame
2. Ohio State
3. Michigan
