This is ridiculous. Ohio State is one of the most respected schools in the country. You people act like it is a community college.

All I had to do was show up, enroll and pay but that was way back in the day.

On the Hineygate board somebody was talking about how in the 70's and 80's if you were an Ohio high school graduate you would automatically get accepted to Ohio State.

You obviously don't understand when I attended Ohio State. Look up Earl Bruce. His first year and my first year were the same. At that point in time there was a multitude of universities across the country that you could just show up, enroll and pay and you were in.

You might want to look up Ohio State's pre and post season rankings before you go posting bullshite without any facts to back your assertions up.

I knew a few people who got 25s on their ACT and were 3.7+ gpas that didn't get main campus and this was back in 2007. I know it got tougher even year too, just don't know the actual details.

I would consider a 3.7 GPS pretty high, but I woudln't think a 25 on the ACT would be that difficult.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some coaches would covet certain ones over others.

ND is the toughest job.
OSU is probably the easiest.
Michigan is somewhere in the middle.

ND can recruit nationally better than the other 2, but doesn't have a local base whatsoever, whereas the other 2 have good bases.

In terms of prestige, I'd rank them: ND, OSU, Michigan.

yep.

Michigan is the class of the bunch. Fantastic school...great tradition...classy, best fight song, the Big House...everything about it is first class.

This is Michigan.
