He was good enough to force Daxx Garman to transfer, and they still have JW Walsh behind Rudolph.

Daxx Garman transferred because he was out of his league at OSU. One of the worst Power 5 QBs I saw last year. Rudolph/Walsh should definitely be an upgrade, but I still think CMU will be able to keep the game respectable.

Might be better to get the o/u to 61.5 or whatever the 10 points would make it.

Bad... I know I am on Texas State +30, not sure if they can cover the 20 but you'd be better off teasing it up to Texas State +40 than down to Florida State -20

Alabama bet is probably fine

Louisville can win that game straight up, there are better plays to make

If I HAD to play a 3 team 10 point teaser this week... it would be:

Tennessee -10.5
Central Michigan +34.5
Northern Illinois -13

I hate playing teasers though... every now and then I'll play a big 10 or 12 teamer for $1 or $2 for shits and giggles. But whenever I try to make them a part of my profit strategy they kill me. Always look good on paper, but never deliver.

There was value on Southern Miss +23.5 last week, but its gone now... that is probably the right side.

Late to the party on Tulane... it was at +9.5 a couple days ago. I think the value is gone and its on Duke now

For my method, 9.5 and 7.5 are the same number. I don't take issue with him chasing RLM there although not a play for me.

Yea, chances of losing this bet from a number or 7.5 and 9.5 is slim

My system has Western Michigan covering 82.5% of the time. I don't trust my system that much this early in the season, but I think Michigan State is the squarest play on the board this week and I don't think people are giving Western Michigan enough respect

I'm gonna be at that game with my future FIL so I don't wanna bet against Tulane and actively cheer against them in front of them.

Here is my take on the Michigan State/WMU matchup.

Michigan State returns 7 on offense and 7 on defense.

Western Michigan returns 9 on offense and 7 on defense.

Both return their QB: Connor Cook and Zach Terrell.

WMU returns a great RB in Franklin, but Michigan State's run defense allowed 78 ypg vs non-conference foes at 2.5 ypc. 173 of those yards was against Oregon. The other 3 non-conference games ran for 140 combined; a 1.97 ypc clip. I expect a simar run-stopping MSU defense this year.

They did give up 210 ypg passing to non-conference foes last season, and one of those was 318 vs Oregon. The other 3 only averaged 175 passing.

I don't expect WMU to eclipse 325 total yards on offense, but I do expect MSU to score in the 40s here.

WMU will not score enough to keep it close. I expect something like 45-17.

The only common opponent from last year was Purdue, who beat WMU 23-14 to open the season. Michigan St defeated Purdue 45-31 mid-season.
