Hey if Curry wins 1st and Harden finishes second I'll tip my hat to Curry as he has had a great season. That's how it will end up imo I don't think Harden will win it. Too much for him to overcome after the video that was put out last season highlighting his poor(at times) defense. Tbh I reckon there are MVP voters out there who still think he's a piss poor defender. Guys like Charles Barkley etc who don't watch a whole lot of games and just go off of what they hear others say.

I really think it's Harden's to lose. If the Rockets finish Top 3, he will get it for sure.

Idk GSW will finish a good bit ahead of HOU and their numbers are about even.

I think Harden should win it but I don't think all of the voters will see it that way.

Curry is much more likable and they'll have similar stats. Curry will win if both stay on the same pace.

the one he wins this year won't be the only one that he wins in his career.

Ehh you may be right, but the situation couldn't be more perfect for him this year to win it.

Durant and Westbrook dealing with injuries
Cavs slow start
New Orleans being mediocre (this may not change )
Dwight being out (Similar to how Russ being out so much helped KD last year)

Curry beat fricking LeBron in the ASG fan vote. He is by far one of the most likeable players in the league.

I agree with that except for the NOLA part. That team is a long way from having an MVP winning player imo. If you have to finish in the top 3 of your conference to win the MVP they're at least 2-3 years from that.

I just think Klay Thompson scoring 37 in a quarter changed a lot of opinions. Suddenly, people started to question if Curry was even the most valuable on that team (the answer is still yes). Nobody on Houston is even close to All-NBA besides Harden. That helps his cause. I just feel like so many media personalities have Harden as the favorite. But maybe they will switch when it comes down to it.

Where does The Wolverine, Pat Bev, rank on the list of best instigators of the modern era (post Bulls domination)?

I'd put him just behind these guys, but he's still young and his potential is off the charts.

Artest
Rasheed Wallace
Bruce Bowen
Garnett

What in the hell is happening in this thread/the NBA tonight? 437 posts? I'm just getting home, but this has to be the most popular one of the year, right?
