Russell gets knocked for playing poorly against UNC, Zona, Michigan St, etc. because those teams realized if they got up in Russells face he would have to pass to scrubs.

He's not a guarantee to be great, but he has aa lot of upside too. He's young and still developing and he's this good.

Winslow is an All Star year 3.

Bobby Portis will be a great pro

WCS will be a bust. Its the only thing CWebb has ever said that I agree with

No mention of RJ Hunter? I think he will be a 10 year pro

Those four- and five-star scrubs.

Just giving ya shite. I said it earlier in the thread, but Russell and Mudiay's games translate well to the NBA. I see both of them having long, productive careers.

Mudiay, in particular, is in the mold of a John Wall-type play maker. He has a chance to be an absolute star.

I'd honestly take WCS 4th in the draft. he's probably the best defensive center I've ever seen since Mutumbo. You can put him in the middle and he will lock it down for 15 years

he will never be your centerpeice on offense but you know what you are getting.

You could argue that KAT was the better defensive player this past season. Anthony Davis was better than him in college. Noah was an awesome defender as well. That's WCS is a very good defender but saying he's the best defensive center since Mutumbo is a reach.

Something I noticed about WCS in this thread... You either love him and think he's gonna be a stud for 10+ years in the NBA or you hate him and think he has bust written all over him. And there are very few people in between.

That said, I'm in between think he's gotta go to the right team that has an offensive post presence, like RTR said the Kings and Boogie would be a great landing spot for him. So would Orlando, playing alongside Vucevic, and Charlotte, playing alongside Al Jefferson. And I do think he's a better offensive player than people give him credit for, but that's not where he will make his $$$ in the NBA.

to be honest, I'm in between on him. i think he will be a tyson chandler/joakim noah type. i don't think he will be a bust in the sense that he will be out of the league in 4 years, but i don't think he is worth a lottery pick, and he will be an offensive liability wherever he lands. there is absolutely no way you can build a team around him, and I think I saw one mock draft had him at #4 which is ridiculous.
