Willie Cauley-Stein stroking the mid-range today. Just hit 8 or 9 straight 18-footers. Form looks solid. He's in very good shape physically.

Like I said, I saw him do this quite a few times this season. Form has never been an issue.

I'm super high on WCS. I think he is more likely to win a championship than Okafor.

People don't like when I use the word bust with Okafor, so I won't. I just think Okafor is the type of player who will severely limit a franchise. His offensive game will cause him to be considered an essential piece, but I think his defense could kill a team. And I just don't see the lateral quickness to improve there.

I do know that Yao (when healthy) was able to have quite the defensive presence, and I think that is what Okafor needs to try to be. Jeff Van Gundy probably deserves a ton of credit for making Yao a very serviceable low post defender though.

Yep. His former assistant took over for him basically once Towns was done playing for the team.

If the season wasn't enough, it takes about 5 minutes of a Karl Towns workout to realize he's the No. 1 prospect in the draft.

Please don't frick this up Twolves.

im convinced Justin Anderson will be a big time player. three and D type player with an NBA size body

small forward with a 6'5" standing reach? Great NBA size body there. He'll only be giving up 5 inches to Lebron and Kawhi, 6 to Paul George, and 7.5 to KD.

His defensive game totally has room to grow

Wouldn't you rather him on the Lakers?

Reading through this thread, I agree with most posts. Nobody really stands out as being rated too high in my eyes. Russell and mudiay scare me a bit in the top 5 as PG's but don't think either will bust. Porzingis has bust potential because he's so weak but most people I follow that have seen all his games love him.

I agree that okafor could be that good stats/bad team guy. But I think his potential is being underrated because he's not an explosive athlete. He's been in the process of transforming his body since his senior year of HS, his conditioning and lateral quickness will improve if he has a strong work ethic.

i have a feeling mudiay will bust. he's not close to as athletic as he's being sold as, and that's his main attribute

I'd rather see him end up on an EC team, but if I have to choose I'd rather see him end up in Minnesota.

The Lakers getting to build around a franchise Center that is great on both ends of the court is a scary proposition imo.

Yeah we talked about that in another thread. Almost everyone in the NBA is a great athlete, wall/Westbrook/early rose are super freaks, mudiay doesn't appear to have that.

I hear you, I like the lakers being good but don't want it to be too easy. Towns/Randle and Okafor/Dieng just matchup so much better.

I'm not sold on KAT. I think he is limited physically, which in today's NBA, doesn't fly. I see alot of players in this draft as 6th-8th men. Also, I think alot depends on who gets drafted where. I think if the T-Wolves take Okafor, he does alot better there than in LA.

I wouldn't take Mudiay in the Top 15. Same with Oubre. Booker should have stayed in school and worked on the rest of his game.

Steals: Both Kaminsky and Dekker. Both have the height and athletic ability needed in today's NBA. WCS. If he can get a jump shot.

I was a little hesitant about Russell's pro prospects early in the year at Ohio State right when people were talking about his as a one and done.

The only knock on him I have is that he was shut down by the best teams we played. But when you're basically the only good player on the court for your team, it's hard.

He stroke is extremely pure, he has decent handles and passes exceptionally well. His shooting alone makes him an NBA prospect. It will be interesting to see if he makes it as a point guard. He seems like much more SG.

Has the highest bust potential imo... if a team takes him in the top 10 they are going to regret it

Sounds like a modern PG who needs to work on his handle a bit.

If he is assigned to a great shot doctor, he'll be a solid flex forward for years. AK-47 2.0. He's got great defensive instincts, and could be lethal from the corners.
