This is a GREAT move for the Lakers. Too bad they can't trade Bynum for Howard.

Might be a Laker already if he wasn't such a baby with a fetish for shitty franchises.

Will OKC still pass this team up?

is a pretty stout lineup...
Yup.
if Kobe takes a step back from shooting 20 times per game and not being very efficient, and let's Nash take control more, that's a scary lineup.
If Kobe insists on dominating the ball like last season and taking so many bad shots, the Lakers won't be much better.

I'll tell you what: the Landry Fields news conference in Toronto will be a lot more interesting than Nash's in L.A.

Kobe is 5 plus years past his prime?
You don't agree?
I think he peaked somewhere between 05 and 08

So will the offense be better with Kobe on the floor and Nash on the bench or Nash on the floor and Kobe on the bench?
Or maybe the real question is "how will Mike Brown frick this up?".

Sources have told LINK that Steve Nash will try to convince Grant Hill to join him with the Lakers.

Don't think Brown is going to last especially after Jim Buss' comments.
They are waiting for Dwight Howard to say that he will extend with the Lakers. Once he does, a rejuvenated P Jax will be back to coach.

I'll probably get roasted for this by someone but to me this makes the Lakers getting Howard even more appealing. Nash is going to get beaten on the perimeter but if they have Howard on the inside to clean up those mistakes it be a lot less noticeable
Nash
Kobe
Metta
Pau
Howard
would be very interesting

I will be sick if the Lakers get Howard.

Personally, I think LA should have gone in a different direction, but you can't blame them for trying.

Well Nash is probably the best PG the Lakers have had since Magic. Hard to argue with them trying.
