Never. Kobe has won all his rings on his own
Guys like Jordan and Kobe would never team up with other great players, its just not in their DNA.

Lots of "but, but, buts" will be coming...

That's all it took to get Nash? A few first round picks that are going to be in the mid-lower 20s?

He was a free agent...we're lucky we got anything. If he chose Toronto we wouldn't have gotten anything. I'm sure we are going to use those picks to attempt a sign and trade for Gordon like previously mentioned.

Yea because Kobe met with Nash and said, "hey bro, let's team up and run the league".

I realize that, I'm just surprised after the rumors the Knicks were offering Shumpert+.

ETA: I guess he chose the Lakers over them, which seems odd with his loyalty to the Suns.

Steve Nash chose the Los Angeles Lakers over the New York Knicks, according to source. Kobe Bryant recruited him.

Screw Kobe for actually wanting to win

While I'm glad they finally have a pg, Nash is old as shite and they still aren't better than OKC.

Probably include him in their eventual trade for Howard

bizarre that you could get TWO picks for a 38 yr old guard.

You mean a guard that led the league in total assists last year at age 38? Trust me, he still has some left in the tank. Plus those picks will be 25-30.

the chance to play for the raptors could still be there 3 years or so down the road. not surprising he was likely always gonna lean towards a contender.

Nashty Nash to the Lakers for First Round Picks I wonder if the Suns are going to use the 1st round picks from the Lakers along with something else to get Gordon from the Hornets after they match the max contract?

If He signs the sheet and Noh matches, he can't be traded to PHx. Ever. If he signs the offer sheet, he had no intention of ever going to Phoenix and it was all a dog and pony show. If he wants to be traded to PHX, it would have to happen without him signing the sheet.

And those Lakers picks are worthless to us. They would need to be thrown in, plus an unprotected from PHX and a good player, ie not Lopez.

Yeah, the Lakers main problem with the Thunder and Spurs this season was guarding them.
