well it obviously did to most people. I think if it was a week ago a single one of us wouldn't have thought he would go in round 1. So to us his stock rose. However, to the individual teams his stock most likely remained the same.

Taking a chance on someone at 25 for guys later on is not as big a deal as you are making it out to be.

what????

taking a single, one, singular crapshoot at 25 is the same or better than 3 crapshoots at 43, 70, and 114? a crapshoot implies it could be good or bad.

if you're going to play the odds you're better off giving yourself a few chances rather than 1.

ETA: especially when you have glaring needs OTHER than QB and there's tons of talent on the board.

I would venture to say the majority of NFL teams didn't have a 1st round grade on him. In fact they may not have even had a 2nd round grade on him.

Even as a Gator fan, I'm not sure Tebow is worth the risk as a 1st round pick. But I'm shocked at how many people didn't think he could easily sneak in there.

All he needed was one team to fall in love with him out of 32. The Broncos did.

The Broncos parlayed one first round pick into two and ended up getting the QB they wanted all along without having to use their lone 1st round pick on him.

That doesn't make them any less stupid for taking him in the 1st if they could have used that pick on someone else and still gotten Tebow in the 2nd.

agreed. I guess they don't think much of Brady Quinn. Although They had Tebow in for pre draft visits, workouts, the whole 9 yards.

not if in 3 years he is really good because he has had time to sit.
