Then why didn't you just say it like that way earlier in this thread. This I can agree with, but you have been blasting them with some sort of hatred induced rant.

I don't think he will meet all of their expectations as a franchise QB. I can see why they may think so though. And, like Chadboy, I do think he can have a more positive immediate affect on the team than other QB's taken in this draft. Long term he will likely fail though. My opinion, possibly yours, but not Denver's.

Sorry. Didn't mean to imply it that way. I meant it more like picks you don't like, rather than him personally.

He was their second pick in the first round, so I think failure unless pro bowl or super bowl winner is a bit strong. Unless that applies to the 24 guys before him (not the super bowl qb part).

no hatred involved, the pick makes ZERO sense

this thread have evolved from Chad thinking he can be an effective HBack or FB to how Tebow needs to meet expectations yada yada yada

im sorry if it was cloudy that everything i had typed wasnt my opinion though

not many players come into the draft with his hype, and the ones that do are picked very early

which is why i think the pick had something to do with his name. Which is the main reason it better work out for them.

Look, McDaniels took over a team with playoff caliber personnel. He started 6-0, then shite the bed the last 10. In his time in Den, he has gotten rid of Cutler and Brandon Marshall, and really has nothing to show for it. Likes he rebuilding when he didnt have too.

Not even bringing into the fact that QB was the least of Denvers problem last year, only makes this pick more retarded.

so Tebow for these crapshoots.

I think it sounds like too much also, but not exactly a complete failure if he doesn't win the super bowl or become all pro.

Like I said earlier, dude is a joke....before it's all said and done, he will frick up the trend of hiring young coaches for everybody.....LE, you're right, this time last year, he was straight at QB and WR and he fricked it up. People can say what they want, but he could have easily defused the situation between both entities but he inflamed them to show people "who is the boss"......you would think that he would be young enough to know that managerial style is archaic(in any business setting)......from the moment I saw this jackass walking aroung in a cutoff hooded sweatshirt IMITATING Bill Bilichiek, I figured this is gonna end badly. I'm thinking this muthafricka has on a damn halloween costume!! So you dress like him, then you are like him??? WTF

Read the whole post. You said that if he doesn't win the SB or become all pro he is a failure.

Again, read the whole post in context.

Josh McDaniels acts like a douche but he can coach a bit.

Sure they really faded down the stretch, but stop acting like you all knew Denver would win as many games as they did with Kyle Orton at QB. Don't give me that shite about how he won games in Chicago too, everyone thought he was nothing but a mediocre QB.

And he had the Broncos defense completely overachieving early in the season.

it seems like you think his stock rose because teams inquired about trading for him a day before the draft??

the fact of hte matter is, trades 99% of the time dont happen until draft day.

meaning, his stock didnt rise. It just became crunch time. Thats when teams start to talk and make moves

Show me where I said that. In fact, I said quite the opposite.

You said that if he didn't make the pro bowl or become a SB QB winner, he is a failure.

That is all I was addressing.

Taking a chance on someone at 25 for guys later on is not as big a deal as you are making it out to be.

I don't think it was a good trade. Clear?
