Jimmy was never staying past the next year. He never stayed anywhere very long. The mistake was Chan Gailey, his offense did not fit the Dallas personnel. Then the Cardinal loss in Dallas was the kill shot.

True Gerry Jones did run off Jimmy Johnston, but I think he made he great hire in getting Barney Switzer. Barney was the second of his proven college coaches. Since then he has gone the Pro route. Maybe Gerry Jones needs to look at the college ranks again.

PEEJ! You forgot Alworth. You're forgiven.

Bambi has to be on any Top 10 list for it to be valid.

RB is just as debatable. Barry Sanders, Jerome Bettis, Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith, Earl Campbell just to name a few. Runningbacks are all different- none of them play exactly the same so it's impossible to name just one

Go Calboys! I wanna gratulate him on this honor.

(But Jerry Rice is still the GOAT.)

I don't know who I would say is the best of all time:

- Jerry Rice ran the best routes
- Randy Moss had the best combination of speed, hands, and leaping ability
- T.O. was one of the strongest players in the middle of the field

I do know, however, that Irvin wasn't even close.

Rice is the GOAT of WRs, and saying anyone else is just stupid.

Michael Irvin is 25th in yards and 38th in receptions.

Rice
22,895 yards
1,549 receptions

Irvin
11,904 yards
750 receptions

How anyone can even suggest Irvin was better than Rice is laughable.

I have no problem with someone saying Rice is the best ever, but Moss was undoubtedly more talented.

Rice had longevity and health on his side. Moss at his best > Rice

Terrell Owens had more receptions and more yards in the same era and years played.

Best season for each receiver.
Rice 122 receptions for 1,848 yards
Moss 111 receptions for 1,632 yards
Owens 97 receptions for 1,451 yards.
Irvin 93 receptions for 1,523 yards.

People don't realize how DOMINANT Rice was.

No he benefited by being on the Cowboys. He pushed off all the time and never got called.
