They could have won the championship this past season with wiggins
Wiggins, as a rookie probably playing way less minutes and less touches and average way less points isn't making a 2 game difference against GS.

And Rolo + Pierce are solid players, but there's no way I'm leaving a contender AND giving up millions of dollars for that group.

Agreed. People get misled by the numbers he put up in Minnesota, which he wouldn't have put up in Cleveland.

Hopefully the Cavs get some draft picks back in a sign and trade.

This is why you don't let players make your deals. Lebron wanted K. Love and it cost them their future

What would Love have made if he opted in, and what would he stand to make if he signs a 1 year max deal?

The Cavs are trying to trade away their pick for this year. They don't need picks.

Cavs aren't playing for the future, they're playing for the present.

Plus, this opt out doesn't mean he's leaving, you're jumping the gun as of now.

Sources: If Kevin Love goes forward with visits in July, expect Boston to sell him on pursuing group of Love, Robin Lopez and...Paul Pierce.

You mean $2mil more to opt out/resign for 1 year?

Ok, so this changes nothing then.

The 24th pick is worthless for immediate help. They want to put that pick with Haywood's contract to get an impact wing player.

Rookies in general are meaningless for their situation, especially any picks outside of the top 5.

They already used a bunch of picks to build their current roster

Love is one of the most overrated players in the league IMO. If we are gonna use the minny excuse for wiggins' inflated stats then the same can be said for love.

Kevin Love was due to make $16.7M next season. With 2015-16 salary cap at about $67.1M, Love, by opting out, can start at $18.9M next season
