33-3 is 33-3 no matter what. They also showed they could beat the Warriors in that style during that streak

Cleveland remains the frontrunner to sign Love to a five-year, $100M-plus extension, but Love could be willing to hear out Celtics, Lakers.

Celtics telling Love.. "Hey man. I know you hate us bc that dude fricked up your first playoff experience but don't worry!! We will get rid of him and sign Robin Lopez and Paul Pierce! CHAMPIONSHIP!!!"

I'm not getting in this argument for like the 20th time since the series.

Their defense got better without those two. They limited possessions. They were a completely different team from the regular season version.

Once Golden State got the pace up they crushed the Cavs.

The Warriors just won 83 games...3rd most all time.

But sure. It is a given that they would have beaten the Warriors if Love and Kyrie were healthy.

Who said it was a given?

Or they figured out the Cavs. We saw it at the end of Game 3 and it carried on through the rest of the series.

Same thing happened against Memphis.

It was both, and much easier to figure out a team with 1 option, as opposed to 3.

Their defense got better. NO DOUBT.

Their offense got worse. Obviously.

Their pace hardly changed at all. They didn't have some drastic change in limiting their possessions. They already limited their opponents possessions throughout the regular season with Kyrie and Love playing. The stats show that man.

Their offensive efficiency dropped 3 pts while their defensive efficiency increased 3 pts from regular season to post season. While their pace stayed almost exactly the same.

Once again. I'm not saying that and I have yet to say that. But it's pretty reasonable to say that the Cavs chances would have increased if they had 2 all stars who they played with all season playing in the finals game instead of leaning on a 7 man roster with fricking Delly running the point.

Except when those 2 options take away a ton of the benefits you received by them being out. At least in Love's case.

If the Cavs had ever actually figured out how to use Love correctly I would start to agree, but the way they chose to use him is better for the Warriors than having to deal with TT constantly.

Just to make sure, you're on record saying Cleveland's chance of winning was better without the 2 players?

They beat the Warriors at their game earlier in the year with both teams playing great. Oh and the fact that curry would have to actually guard someone and lebron wouldn't be dead by the fourth. They took the Warriors to 6 with delly and a one armed iman schumpert. She the Warriors go on a scoring spree, Kyrie and love could help the cavs do the same

Make it stop.

This is the pace of their most played lineup post AS break (once they stopped sucking)

That is top 10 in the NBA.

This is the finals

No, just from a bodies standpoint there chances would be better.

I'm just saying I still don't think it would have been any different to be honest.

So in the reg season with their most played lineup they were 97.23 pace

In the finals with their most played lineup they were 95.48

less than 2 difference.

AMAZING!!!

Their offenive rating dropped over 22 points but hey.. At least that defensive rating got 5 points better. Totally evens out right?

He isn't exactly good

In regards to LeBron being dead in the 4th. You're right. We obviously couldn't know that. But we can be certain that his usage wouldn't by as high with Kyrie and Kevin Love playing. During the reg season LeBron could cost on offense and let Kyrie take a few possessions or toss it down to Love every now and then. He wasn't able to do that in the finals.

You're arguing against such obvious things that could have helped the Cavs.

That's just because the Grizzlies lost to them too.

Grizzlies losing to them is more palatable in your mind if you believe no one else could've beat them.

Do you think the Cavs at full strength are better than the Grizzlies?
