people's obsession with Notre Dame is funny. ND is absolutely more deserving than Iowa.

I was praising them early in the season for not being as stale and archaic as the polls, but now I think they've gone a little too far the other way. There needs to be some connection week to week and not so scattered each week.

So I go on ESPN.com and click on the comments article and the top 2 comments are people complaining about Bama being ranked in the top 4. They make LSU fans look sane.

...what criteria are they looking at?
They have better wins (two top ten wins), a better loss, and higher SOS

ND's best attribute this year is that they were close to Clemson, yet still lost. You can't put them over Iowa because they were close to winning a game. That is asinine.
