I'll be in attendance on Thursday!
Since it's Halloween, I'll have my Hulk Hogan muscle suit on but instead of wearing red and yellow, I'll be decked out in blue and white!
It's gonna be something to see!

A decision has to be made by next weekend for sure because of the power rankings and playoff implications.
A possible solution is to have Destrehan forfeit and award the 19 power points to South Lafourche.
With all the private/non private stuff going on with the split playoffs, I can promise you LHSAA (Guzzardo) wanted this swept under the rug

alright makes sense. I'm guessing if the penalty isn't to SL satisfaction they will push it farther though... then it'll be real messy. they already got an attorney for it.

I have a feeling that this publicity will not only draw in more viewers, but it'll rile up the bayou and they'll show up in masses despite being Halloween. There's nothing like a down the bayou scorned.

Well, it has become a criminal investigation with the Lafourche Parish DA and Sheriff involved. The criminal investigation is needed to obtain the physical locations of those two IP addresses. Originally, Guzzardo refused to help with the investigation, thus the need to act via law enforcement.

Unsure who the five assistant coaches were that fessed up when confronted by the St. Charles Superintendent after she was notified that one of the IP addresses was from inside Destrehan High School.
Not really sure if any actions should be taken against the five, but any coach who spoke to LHSAA representatives on Monday and denied any knowledge of accessing the account should be terminated or not allowed to coach for the remainder of this season and all of next season.
I believe the investigation should involve obtaining the LHSAA representative's notes of the meeting on Monday. If determined a subpar investigation was conducted, these individuals should be terminated from the LHSAA.

Just curious about others opinions in this discussion, but do you think that only those 5 who logged on are guilty of cheating? Is there any way a week of preparation and game planning could take place and only those 5 knew about the cheating that was taking place? It seems to me this is an all or nothing if it results in jobs being lost.

The head coach had to know about this. There is just no way he would not ask his coaches why they were having the defensive players adjust as soon as the scout team was calling out a play at the line.
He must have certainly wondered during the game why his defensive players were moving into position based upon signals being sent in from the South Lafourche bench and not from his defensive coaches.
