This is odd timing, and I hate it.

Just announced in press conference.

Weird timing. But he's like 75 years old and I guess he's ready to cash out.

He bought the team for $85 million 24 years ago and it's now worth nearly $2 billion.

that is odd.....

However if it helps Houston become an option for an NHL franchise..... Good riddance....

His gift to he city and his successor was locking up James. What a run he has had. In the time that he has been owner there is no nba franchise w fewer losing seasons iirc. Couple titles. Etc etc.

This is what happens when your franchise just hasn't won anything in over 20 years. Let the speculation begin!

Knicks have a presser scheduled in an hour or so. Probably nothing to do about Melo.

When geriatric Manu Ginobili is shutting down the best thing you've got going, I guess it's time to fold

"Is he committed to finding a buyer that will keep the team in Houston?"

"Yes."

Well, shite! So more than half of the league is considering a move to Seattle? Can't blame them...weed laws and all.

You recall incorrectly. Since the 93-94 season, y'all have had (3) losing seasons (and (2) .500 seasons in addition to those).

In the same span, the San Antonio Spurs have had only (1) losing season. Also, SA has not had any .500 seasons in that span.

Oh yea I was going back 33 years to get to CC having only three losing seasons. Second most winning seasons in NBA since taking over. 2 titles. Top 5 franchise kinda team since he has taken over.

C'mon Tbird, you know he's not into looking in the past. No one cares about old windows. It's all about the future and the concussed Harden. Hopefully he's okay by now and there's no lingering effects from that severe injury he suffered

Ginobili made Harden quit.
Ginobili made Alexander quit.
Ginobili makes Rockets quit on Houston?
