I think he's the one. Remember their age and they are maturing daily. He seemed poised to be able to hold on longer and was bred for it.

Unless someone shows me a reason another horse is better, there's no reason to believe he'll lose (other than historical stats, lol)

I wouldn't say he is bred for it although he does have stamina influences in his pedigree. The biggest issue will be can he recover for the Preakness, which could well be another humdinger of a race, and then face to fresh rivals- Mubtahij and Materiality and possibly Keen Ice who actually are better bred for stamina, the first two also having the right style.

Personally, I think he will lose the Preakness. He was a tired boy in a picture I saw post race walking back with his head down.

Not happening.
I'm betting in the Preakness the same horse I bet in the Derby: Frosted.
Usually the Derby is all doggies closing. Not this time.
I'll take the one horse who really closed.

Show me one that wasn't tired and I'll show you which one wasn't in the money.

Odds are he loses one of them. But every year there are fresher horses thrown at the winner. Hopefully his best is yet to come. For the common fan, it's good to have a story going into the 3rd leg. Great for the sport.

I do not understand why people are thinking a closer will do better in a shorter race. I like AP until New York. I will wait to see the field to make that call.

Aspy.
I'm getting convinced by the wife to go to pimlico. And if AP wins, the Belmont also.

Have you been to pimlico?
What seating advice do you have?
I'm not an infield kinda guy. I'd rather actually watch the race.
How does the grandstands, concourse, and turf club compare?

Never been to the Preakness so I'm worthless there.

I don't like that Baffert's 2 are hitting the track for the first time tomorrow. Most others were out today.

You might want to buy those Belmont tickets now. They are capping Belmont attendance at 90K, which means if AP wins, you are going to be paying quite the premium on the secondary market which I assume is where you are purchasing the tickets, as all the nice seating for all the races tends to sell long before now.
