He's been in the league for 20+ years, has a shiny bald head, and is the head of officiating for a lot of games.
I firmly ascribe that if you don't know his name, you don't watch basketball.
Also, most players know the refs by name and are friends with them. Seeing how it's your profession and all....

Ed Hochuli would never pull that shite, most players actually like him and joke with him during games. He is also a pretty awesome dude outside of officiating too. Joey Crawford is a complete scumbag though.

What a tough guy. He tells Mozgov (who can barely speak English) to shut up in a totally unprofessional manner, and yet Draymond Green is allowed to bitch, moan and sprint halfway down the court everytime he gets called for a foul. By the way, neither of Mozgov's fouls were legit. Neither were fouls. Crawford needs to retire!

Crawford is such a joke. First of all, Mozgov was talking to another ref. Secondly, why isn't he saying anything to Draymond Green who has 10x worse of a reaction after every single foul call against him? Lastly, frick him. I've never seen another ref/official that gets so high off of a power trip.

Everyone gets mad when players constantly whine and complain to the refs. Then a ref tells a player to shut it and everyone is hating on the ref for it?
