I still am. If he didn't have it on the plane, it's not a CBA issue but then it's a gun he doesn't own, which THEN makes it a legal issue.
I think we are agreeing.

I mean, technically he could own a gun in every NBA city and keeps it somewhere for when he travels
Seems like a complete waste, but I guess if Ja wants to look “hard” at all times.

I can’t help but think of Chapelle’s joke about Ja Rule.

“What does Ja think? Has anyone asked Ja? Where is Ja Rule?!”

He is from SC and Tennessee. In most southern states you can buy a gun from anyone cash, end of deal. Legal.

They're not going to seize a gun in another state for a video violation of a state ordinance. And if they did they can't necessarily determine ownership

There have been other incidents of erratic behavior concerning Morant and banishing a handgun. Including putting a laser on the basketball staff in Indy. All of that is now being investigated by the law.

He sent his gun away somewhere as a form of punishment?

Why would he purchase and keep a gun in a city he visits a couple of times a year? That's the point. If it is his gun, how did it get to Denver?

He violated team rules (CBA) by taking it on the private plane

Talking in circles.

If his claim is that he didn't have it with him on the plane, where did he get the gun in Denver and who does it belong to. And more importantly does he have a CCW in Colorado.

The CBA, not just team rules.

What likely happened is he took it on the plane. He doesn't want that big suspension so he's lying. But if he borrowed with permission or purchased it from an owner in Denver that's still not a legal issue. The only legal issue pertaining to that video is violation of state ordinances regarding carrying. It's a state issue and states do not cross state lines to prosecute carrying violations after the fact. It's a misdemeanor in Colorado, generally fineable up to $1000

Brought a gun into the locker room. Then pulled it on a teammate. Not his finest moment.

I actually recently watched a video where Gilbert Arenas was discussing this. *If he's to be believe* He said he owned 500 guns at the time. He brought 4 guns to the locker room, put them on Javarius Crittenton's chair with a note telling him to pick one to shoot Arenas with. Javarius pulled out his own pistol, a gun got thrown and hit a trainer on the foot which caused them to get busted. Then followed up with "we were like brothers man, just playing".

Crittenton is currently in prison for murder. So I'm not sure how much he was playing on his end.

The guy is one hell of a player..
But his brain is being melting with stupid ideas. 50 games is one thing, but how he changes his lifestyle in that time will at least make it mean something.
