Ohio State @ Nebraska would have had me salivating when I was growing up. Gameday would have been there for sure. Now, I didn't even know the two were playing this week.

They needed to stay in Big12.

Frost can come in, but they still have to go out of state to get top talent. texas pipeline isn't there like in big12.

And Frost can pull in better talent at CFU, w/o leaving the state.

Weird Nebraska is so shitty. I remember they beat us by 40 one year in a conference title game.

Of course, what 18 yr old kid from TX, CA, FL is going to choose Lincoln if he's got options.

Ehh. Bo got fired because he was an a-hole and the AD at the time finally had enough. I mean Bo hired his brother as D coordinator and the brother ends up fricking a MAJOR boosters daughter in law. They told Bo he had to fire him and he pulled an ultimate, of Carl goes i go. So they backed down. Then the next year Bo loses to Wisconsin again and a few other games so they feel like they can fire him.

Real reason though is because Bo is a dick to deal with. I think that’s pretty obvious though

Stop pretending to know college football. Nebraska has been a power since they were in the Missouri Valley Conference and Big 6 going back to the beginning of the 20th century

Ehh... he isn't completely wrong about Nebraska under Osborne.

Just no. Big XII is a horrible conference. Nebraska is better off in the Big Ten. More stable and more money.

Only thing Nebraska needs to do is to bring in a good, young energetic coach. No reason Nebraska can't be a solid program again.

Big 10 is wealthier and more stable, but I still with Neb was back in the Big 12. Along with Missouri. Just seemed right.

Nebraska didn't screw up by firing Bo. Nebraska screwed up by firing Solich.

Hard to fathom Osborne losing 7 Bowls in a row.

Agreed. Sadly, they have yet to rebound from that mistake. Credit to Pelini in that he had Nerbaska on the verge of being back, just could never get over the hump.

This.

You could go on the Huskerboards and they were disgusted by him...and complained constantly about his sideline antics.

Nebraska fans love to be above board

Even if the team isn't.

They had some decent years with Bo and Martinez. By decent I mean more modern style of play and fun to watch.

Yes, it’s going to be super hard to recruit now that they are down.
