Is NBA referee Scott Foster (tonight's ref) fixing games?

Foster has in the past been connected to Tim Donaghy, who went to jail for betting on his own games.
Foster has officiated 12 games so far in the playoffs, not including tonight. In every game except for the first game that Foster refereed, the road team has won AND the underdog has covered the spread.

from r/NBA:
quote:
4/18: Bulls vs. Bucks, Game 1
Home team: Bulls
Favored team: Bulls
Final score: Bulls 103, Bucks 91
4/21: Raptors vs. Wizards, Game 2
Home team: Raptors
Favored team: Raptors
Final score: Wizards 117, Raptors 106
4/23: Pelicans vs. Warriors, Game 3
Home team: Pelicans
Favored team: Warriors
Final score: Warriors 123, Pelicans 119
Point spread: Warriors -5. The Warriors did not cover the spread, so the unfavored team (Pelicans) "wins" here
4/25: Blazers vs. Grizzlies, Game 3
Home team: Blazers
Favored team: Blazers
Final score: Grizzlies 115, Blazers 109
4/28: Clippers vs. Spurs, Game 5
Home team: Clippers
Favored team: Clippers
Final score: Spurs 111, Clippers 107
5/3: Hawks vs. Wizards, Game 1
Home team: Hawks
Favored team: Hawks
Final score: Wizards 104, Hawks 98
5/5: Warriors vs. Grizzlies, Game 2
Home team: Warriors
Favored team: Warriors
Final score: Grizzlies 97, Warriors 90
5/10: Bulls vs. Cavaliers
Home team: Bulls
Favored team: Cavaliers
Final score: Cavaliers 86, Bulls 84
Point spread: Cavs -3. Still, the underdog covers the spread.
5/14: Clippers vs. Rockets, Game 6
Home team: Clippers
Favored team: Clippers
Final score: Rockets 119, Clippers 107
5/20: Hawks vs. Cavaliers, Game 1
Home team: Hawks
Favored team: Hawks
Final score: Cavaliers 97, Hawks 89
5/23: Rockets vs. Warriors, Game 3
Home team: Rockets
Favored team: Rockets
Final score: Warriors 115, Rockets 80
6/7: Warriors vs. Cavs, Game 2
Home team: Warriors
Favored team: Warriors
Final score: Cavaliers 95, Warriors 93

You'd think someone fixing games would try harder to hide it but then again I've seen criminals do some pretty stupid stuff.

I want to believe. I love shite like this.

I don't think he is fixing anything, I just think he is one of the shittiest officials in the league. The fact that he has officiated two finals games is just ridiculous.

Tim called Scott more than he called his bookie over a 1 year period from 2006 to 2007. If Scott is fixing games and he got away back then, then the dude is a moron. But like you said criminals do some dumb shite.

So you're saying Warriors win by 4 or less

Nah he's onto us so he called off the fix tonight. But the rest of them.

Basketball is the 2nd most rigged sport, behind boxing, so I wouldn't be surprised.

"LOOK AT ME GUYS...I'M FIXING GAMES"

Cavs have gotten no calls all series man

It's so easy for the refs to influence the games.

If the fix is in he's not doing a very good job. So far GS has 50% more fouls called against them and have shot about 15% of the free throws Cleveland has.
I know this is hard to accept but GS is just a better team. Let it soak in.

I'm not buying into the conspiracy, but in context of the actual game this does not support the notion that he is doing a shitty job at fixing the game.
Cle went to the line a shitload but they were also down by 8+ points the majority of the time they were getting calls.
If he wanted the road team to win AND for Cle to cover then the free throw disparity fits within the context of the game.
Cle FINALLY got calls tonight after barely getting shite all series. This was the first game of the series that I would say officiating favored cleveland. If this game was called the same way as the other 5 games then the Cavs are probably down 20+ by the 4th.

My small circle of friends in college were absolutely convinced that the '93 finals (Jordan/Barkley) were rigged and that it would without a doubt go 7 games for ratings purposes.
The Bulls were up 3-2 and a game 6 Suns win would have forced a game 7 in Phoenix. With the Suns up by 2 with about 10 seconds left and everyone on the planet thinking MJ would take the tying or winning shot, John Paxon sinks a 3 to seal the win on the first Bull's 3-peat. He obviously hadn't read the script.
They then concluded that it was DEFINITELY fixed to benefit Jordan's legacy.
I would later get new friends.
