If we're honestly talking tge fricking history of college basketball the answer is guy lewis and it's not even really close. Literally lucked into 2 of the best players to ever play the game of basketball (drexler, Hakeem and didn't really want to offer Hakeem a scholarship lol) so u can't even ell say he 2 as a good recruiter lol. Literally rolled the ball out at practice. I'm actually pretty sure that's were the term came from.

His numbers are actually a lot better. You didn't count his Umass and Memphis final four

He's am overrated offensive coach. I've never seen him do anything extremely unique on the offensive end.

kentucky's loss to wisconsin last year in the F4 was squarely on him. the offensive strategy during the last 3 minutes of the game was absolutely pathetic.

Y'all realize UK was #1 in offensive efficiency by KenPom going into the IU game.

Coach cal is the best recruiter i have ever seen. I do think he is an average to slightly above average in game coach at the collegiant level. But the players he gets makes that a threat for a national title on a yearly basis
