Only because of his height. Ullis has always been very good.

Looked at some numbers for a few of the current big name head coaches. Some of these will change after this season.

Coach K has made the tournament 78% of the time. Final 4 30% of the time. And won the championship 12.5% of the time.

Izzo - 90%, 33%, 4.8%
Pitino- 66.6%, 23.3%, 6.6%
Self - 78.2%, 8.7%, 5%
Roy Williams - 93%, 26%, 7.4%

Cal - 70%, 25%, 4.2%

No shot he's the most overrated coach of all time

So that stat shows that Bill Self is probably the most overrated college basketball coach. All those Big 12 regular season championships and only two final fours? The man is the Bob Stoops of college basketball.

He's an underrated defensive coach. Sat what u want bout him but his teams are always sound defensively

He's am overrated offensive coach. I've never seen him do anything extremely unique on the offensive end.

yes, that incredibly flawed stat that he posted right there that is only showing the 5 best coaches in the country proves that self is the most overrated coach in cbb.

At Kansas and UNC to be fair...and a long time coaching.

That's like saying a coach who coached at USC and then Oklahoma in football deserves all the praise compared to coaches who were great at less-renowned programs.

In a 2012 poll...

According to "nearly 100 of the nation's coaches, however, Roy Williams is the most overrated coach in the land.

No championships in 15 years at Kansas...a few final Fours.

"He's won at Kansas and UNC. But who couldn't do that ... besides Matt Doherty?"...a coach said.

This is why a single elimination tournament is a lousy way to crown a champion in basketball. Yesterday people were shitting all over Izzo and now it's Calipari.

I personally think Bob Huggins is the most overrated.. some of those late 90's cincu teams in particular the one with Kenyon nartin, DeMar Johnson and Kenny scatter field were insanely good. 3 nba players one of which was the number one overall pick and another in the top 10, can win the fricking Cuda conference tourney and can't make the fricking sweet sixteen.

Then I'd say gene keady dude never made one final four

Then I'd say Ben Holland

Roy Williams has his faults, but he's probably the best offensive mind in basketballm he know how to coach the offensive side of the ball.

To be fair, that Cincy team with Kenyon Martin lost him to a broken leg right before the tournament.
