Uhhh, no. The pace was much slower in the 90's and scoring was low. In fact, it's one of the reasons they changed the illegal defense rules.

The first half of the 90s was very high scoring as well as the 80s

Yea, it's a solid decline from the 96 season on in ppg

But a bunch of people don't realize the 80s and early 90s had scoring averages between 105 and 110 per game

You see it almost daily, guys talking about no defense today compared to the 80s and 90s.

Under 35 people don't do that...they do the opposite of old people.

I'm 32 and grew up in Chicago watching and going to Bulls games. So...no.

are over 35, you are too busy to watch warriors cause you likely have kids and when the bulls were going you probably only watched 14 games tops (unless you were in Chicago

WGN had most if not all of their games. One of the reasons (besides MJ) they were so popular.

my opinion is that the hypothetical series where Kerr the player has to play Kerr the coach would go 6-7 games

In today's era the Warriors would give them a run for their money. In the Bulls era, the Bulls would win in 5.

Good point. It wasn't every game, but WGN had a lot of them. And you could almost guarantee every weekend double or triple header on NBC would feature the Bulls.

In fact, if the OP wanted to argue that the Warriors don't get the same respect because their viewership is hurt by late tip times and TV deals, it would at least be more valid than bullshite about age and nostalgia.

Playing with pre hand-check rules, the Bulls would dominate the Warriors as would the Kobe/Shaq Lakers. The Warriors wouldn't be able to shoot so many 3's with physical defense.

I don't think Thompson and Green are as good as Pippen and Rodman either, but again.

You lost me here.

does OP realize that virtually every 1996 Bulls playoff game is on youtube as well as a handful of regular season games?

But when it comes to Warriors vs Bulls or any other great team from previous eras. The Warriors lose because they have a huge deficiency in post scoring/defense and rebounding

JFC, I love Curry, but top five of all time displaces one of the following:

MJ
Bron
Magic
Bird
Russel

In short, pump the fricking breaks.

How is physical defense going to stop someone from shooting an open 3 pointer?
