If you have 5 years, why would you choose college? Might as well try to make some GOAT money.
college students think they could walk on for a year then get a huge contract in the NBA, or NFL.

Any Olympic sport so I can have fun in the Olympic village.

Golf. Retire after 5 years as a legend and design golf courses for millions for the rest of my life.
Sweet!
Sweet!

but you'd only enjoy the village for what six weeks out of five years? PGA tour has groupies.

All pro athletes of that caliber have groupies.

I belive baseball has open tryouts right?
If you go into an open tryout/single A with goat skills
you would be absolutely dominant and fly up to the bigs where you would likely be hitting in the high 300s and 50+ hr a year. I'd assume your developmental deal wouldn't be for very long and you'dget an insane paydayy.
Would also be a hell of a treat for yall seeing a 5'7" 165 pounder just raking every single night.

Golf is the only answer, path already discussed, and if we are assuming goat status, winning multiple majors a year for all 5 years would be done. Also you would be an immediate legend if you won some Monday qualifier, won the event then won the masters and say us open that year. Could also grind out the 5 years and play every event to maximize cash and tour wins and likely fed ex cup wins.
What would be hilarious is that 6th year here you come say 12 majors 5 fed ex cup wins all kind of big endorsements then shooting 130 in the Thursday round of the masters

And nobody would get huge money on a 1st round nfl or nba contract anymore. It'd be a lot of money but you're not getting 100+ M

Would add to the legend IMO
I'd then fake my own death and become immortal. Retiring in anonymity in the Maldives.

I would go with the 100M dash. I would choose to be Usain Bolt. I wouldn't make as much money as I would in some other sports (though I'd still get some big endorsement $), but nothing would top the awesomeness of being the fastest man in the world.
Y'all are all going for the money, and that's fine, but I'd go for the glory.

Boxing. Look at the money mayweather is making.

Would have way more glory in golf, think of tiger in his prime, dude had more endorsements than anyone

Agreed that Golf is the answer because of the qualifier system for the Open. Easiest to grt into. Winning guarantees the payout and you can maximize your earnings based on performance whereas other sports have salary caps of some sort.

i think basketball is easier than people are hinting at to get to the association. you are the best player ever? you could find a way in to pro basketball of some sort within a couple weeks to months id presume. worst comes to worst, you play in europe for a year or two, where i presume it is easier to get onto a team.

I think that's a little over shooting it. The GOAT's of golf don't win 12 majors in 5 years. I'd say realistic is 5 majors in 5 years, which I guess I'd be ok with

They have tryouts in Las Vegas every single year for the NBA. I think it could be pretty easy to get on the team if you woke up with GOAT abilities.

I'd assume the GOAT would be better than tiger in his prime.
