The clippers will make the NBA finals, let me make that clear here first. Here's why how they can topple the Spurs:

Dominant the paint-- deandre and Blake > Duncan at their peak right now. I'm not sure if Duncan could sustain peak performances from both those guys at this stage in his career. He will need to match them with a 18 13 avg at least and I just don't see it happening. This opens up the 3 point shot for their perimeter guys and gives them control of the space of the game.

This series really comes down to Deandre and Blake's will and whether or not Khawki can make that finals MVP leap. The only way I see them winning this series is if he is the best player in the series by a wide margin.

Look for rivers to hound Parker defensively, and for Matt Barnes to give them quality minutes at the 3

Combined? Hell that's barely above their season average. Will take a lot more than that, and I don't mean from those two guys specifically, but the Clippers as a whole.

This series will come down to Parker vs. Paul. When Parker is clicking, the Spurs are winning.

Don't let your hate for European privilege cause you to look past the Spurs.

SAS depth will be the difference. Don't have to worry about fouling anybody out while hacking Jordan. They're gonna make him win every game at the line. If doc has to pull him the spurs are gonna blow them out.

I watch a lot of Clippers games, I want to like them, I honestly think they have the best starting 5 in the NBA...but, I just can't see them beating SA over seven games. If it is even in question, Pop will just foul Jordan until Doc is forced to pull him...then what? Their bench is horrid outside of Crawford. No depth whatsoever.

They aren't averaging 25reb combined, Blake doesn't rebound enough...and Austin Rivers being a key to victory...

So when they hack DAJ and force Doc to bring in his stellar bench, then what?

If Timmy averages 29 and 18 the Spurs will win...

...this game is fun.

Griffin is an overrated clown who spends more time practicing flopping than on his game. Spurs in 5.

The perfect series to let rivers hound an opposing pg 94 feet. I don't think Yall realize it but this is a career deciding series for rivers. Either he learns how to harness his few attributes and skills (length, lateral quickness and potential as a solid defensive guard) or he's done playing NBA basketball for his life. Rivers has to spell CP3 defensively and be a pitbull for 10-15 mins a game. Don't turn the ball over and go all out. I also forsee CP3 getting some assignments on Leonard so it will be imperative that rivers bring it

Rivers has been in the NBA for 3 years now... And his defensive +/- has been negative each year and his D Rating has been 112 per 100 possessions. You think he's all of a sudden gonna change and become a "pitbull" like player on D vs Tony Parker? Get real.

Parker will destroy Rivers. And Kawhi would destroy Chis Paul if he's drawing that assignment. Paul is a good defensive PG, but there's not much he can do vs someone who is 6'7 and stronger. Kawhi would just outmuscle him in the paint.

If Austin Rivers is on Parker and CP is on Kawhi for extended periods of time, Spurs win in 4 and Doc Rivers should be fired.

Most of us realize what Austin Rivers is.

Blake griffin already doesn't respect him
